Hangar 263 at NAS-JRB New Orleans

This project included the complete renovation of Hangar 263, construction of two new modular Flight-Line Buildings, and site improvements.  The objective was to provide a fully functional hangar for multiple types of aircraft including maintenance bays, associated workshops, administrative functions, training spaces, equipment storage, weapons vault and other operational facilities.  The interior spaces were arranged into independent suites for each of the user groups, which included the U.S. Navy, Air Force, and Marines.  Other project objectives included storm hardening of all exterior components to meet applicable wind resistance criteria and to replace all mechanical, electrical, communication, alarm and fire suppression systems including a new AFFF foam fire suppression system.
